Supported Platforms
Information relative to supported platforms and versions
CRS Risk - Risk Assessment Toolkit© is available at present only on Windows 32-bit platforms.
Support for other Operating systems, such as Mac OS and Linux is not currently planned. However, as demand for these platforms increases, the future development of the software could include these.
Windows 95/98/98 SE/98 ME and NT are no longer supported. CRS strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft® Windows®. This greatly increases stability and product support options.
Current Supported Versions
- Windows 2000 Pro (Service pack 3 and higher only)
- Windows XP Pro (Home edition is supported, although networking features are limited) - Please install SP2 where possible, the software has been tested with SP2 and there are no compatibility issues
- Windows Vista (all editions - recommeded SP1 installation first)
CRS advises all clients to ensure that the latest software patches are tested before applying them to your server or client computers. We can offer advice on configuring Windows environments for security and patching, please contact support using the Contact Us page for more information
System Requirements
- Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or Vista
- Super VGA Resolution (800 x 600) - recommended 1024 x 768 or higher
- 256 Colours
- 20Mb Hard Disk Space (50Mb during installation)
- Web Browser (i.e. Microsoft® Internet Explorer®)
